Crafted using the traditional Kakhetian qvevri method, this wine is made from the highest quality Khikhvi grapes harvested in the Vazisubani microzone. The wine underwent an extended 7-month maceration period. It is distinguished by pronounced aromas of quince, apricot and honey. Notable for its soft, pleasant tannins and long finish.

Vinification

The grapes are harvested in early autumn from the Khikhvi vineyards in the Mukuzani microzone. The wine is fermented in a qvevri using the traditional Kakhetian method. It ages in a qvevri in full contact with the skin and seeds for 14 months. The wine is lightly filtered before bottling. The wine is characterized by its light amber color, soft tannin structure, and pronounced fruit and honey tones and aromas.
