Mukuzani is made from high quality Saperavi grapes grown in the Mukuzani microzone and harvested in the company’s vineyards. The uniqueness of the Saperavi from this area and the technology of aging the wine in the oak barrels, influence the distinct taste qualities of Mukuzani, which are typical only for this wine. Vinification

During fermentation in conical stainless-steel tanks, meticulous attention was given to extraction, aimed at achieving fresh and fragrant aromas, vibrant colors, and supple, elegant textures and tannins. After the wine was separated from its skins at the end of fermentation, it underwent full malolactic fermentation in oak barrels to enhance the finesse and expressiveness of its aromas. The aging process, lasting around 15-18 months, took place in 60-gallon French and Austrian oak barrels, partly new and partly used once before.
